About Safe2Grow

Safe2Grow runs safety training courses in Cape Town, specifically CPR and First aid courses.

The Safe2Grow courses are aimed at equipping parents and child minders with basic CPR and First aid knowledge and skills so that they are able to react appropriately in a crisis requiring immediate medical intervention. This training therefore aids to reduce the extent of injury or save the life of a child. In a single two and a half hour session, Safe2Grow teaches one how to recognise the need for CPR, ensure scene safety, call for help, and actually perform CPR on adults, children and infants. It also covers the same basic steps for choking and drowning.

The CPR and First aid courses I offer are designed by the American Heart Association, through whom I have my instructors’ qualification. I am also registered with the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa as a certified instructor.

Despite the serious nature of the course content, the course itself is enjoyable and interactive and you are guaranteed to leave feeling far more capable about what to do in the case of a medical emergency involving any member of your family.

The cost of the course is R250+R30 for materials, payable on the day.

Why choose Safe2Grow

Safe2Grow is a great option when choosing either a CPR or First Aid course. Keeping the sizes of the courses small [maximum of 8 people] and the option of holding it within the comfort of ones own home if required, results in a great hands-on approach with the attention you need to successfully master the skills required.

The advantage of being instructed by an active mother and Nursing Sister means that the real-world application of these skills is communicated clearly, and hopefully any questions you may have will be answered to your satisfaction.

Certified by the American Heart Association and the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa means that you are guaranteed of the best instruction possible.

We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you on a course soon!
